Pickling and phosphating: surface preparation before painting

Paint that peels almost always originates in surface preparation, not in the paint. Before painting, it is necessary to remove oxides, scale, grease and soiling that prevent adhesion. Chemical pickling does this deep cleaning, and phosphating creates a crystalline layer that anchors the paint and adds an extra barrier against corrosion under the film.

Combined-action products simplify the process: they pickle, degrease and phosphate in one step, reducing time and water consumption.
